19 – Trinidad, Jamaica and St, Vincent

I was born here (London) but I spent some year in Luton before coming back to London when I was 4. I started working when I was 16 in a laundrette, doing paper rounds. I stopped that, but I’m still working; I don’t study at the moment, I don’t think that’s quite for me, so I’m finished with studying. And now I’ve got my own website called ForestWonder Blog, and working on this movement, IBIM (I’m Black, I Matter).
I’ve never been self-conscious of my blackness, I love my colour; black people are amazing! I don’t really care what others think of me because, I’m making my money, you ain’t paying my bills. Say whatever you want to say, haters are gonna hate. I love being Jamaican, Trinidadian, we love to party a lot, like Carnival, and they’re lovely people.
There isn’t really anything I’m scared about for the future, just trying to push IBIM, trying to get it out there, that’s my hope for the future. I want to be standing up there with famous people and making sure they hear us.
